Florida’s Children
The Attorney General's Office and several public/private partners team up to increase child safety. The Attorney General, FDLE and Pitney Bowes team up to launch an enhanced Sexual Offender Registry. Helping prevent child abduction and sexual exploitation; help find missing children; and assist victims of child abduction and sexual exploitation, their families, and the professionals who serve them. An interactive, educational resource for children ages 5-17, parents, guardians, educators, and law enforcement that teaches children how to stay safer on the Internet. Escape School is an abduction prevention program that empowers both children and their parents. The Attorney General's Cybercrime Unit includes law enforcement investigators and prosecutors whose primary mission is to target child predators, child pornography, and Internet-based sexual exploitation of children. A new tool allows Floridians to be notified when an offender moves into their neighborhood. The Attorney General teams up with other agencies to protect children from the dangers of meth labs.
