The REALTOR® Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach, Inc. compiles housing statistics and charts on a monthly basis. The information that is tracked includes:
- Number of existing single family homes sold during the month
- Number of pending and active listing of existing single family homes for the month
- Median price of existing single family homes
- YTD total of existing single family homes sales as a historical trend
These stats are provided on a rolling 12-month basis for a year-to-year comparison and to take into account the seasonality of our market in SW Florida. Peak season begins in November and runs through April; traditionally, the softest months are September and October although the current year did not reflect this trend.
