Things to do

Nature, fishing, boating, boating, fishing, nature…….if you are lucky enough to own a gulf access home you can walk into your back yard and boat to some of the best fishing grounds in the world. Or maybe beaching and shelling is your thing….well wait until you see the fabulous secret islands just waiting for you off the NW area. Not on gulf access? That’s okay…a community boat ramp is located conveniently off Burnt Store Road. Or better yet…..find a friend with a boat.

And don’t forget Royal Tee Golf Club--the largest semi-private golf club in Southwest Florida. Featuring 27 championship holes, the course includes more than 50 acres of freshwater lakes, a driving range, two practice greens and four sets of tees.

While the guys are out fishing there is plenty to do……the shops and galleries on Matlacha will keep you intrigued for hours with a unique shopping experience.

There are restaurants for everyone’s taste and more are popping up every where….just within a few miles you can find a place to dine on the water and watch the dolphins play or you can find a national chain with a familiar name.
