Cape Coral Unit 95

Welcome to Cape Coral, Florida

Whether you're vacationing in the Cape, or looking for a permanent residence, there is plenty to do and see. If you just want to kick back and watch the water and boats, check out "Rumrunners" at Cape Harbour 5789 Cape Harbour Drive. You can sit outside and watch the boats park at the restaurant. The food Is great and the service is very good also. Or, if you want something a little smaller and intimate, Try "The Joint", also at Cape Harbour shops, and on the water. Their menu is lighter fare, and Absolutely delicious all the time.

If sitting and sipping a drink on the water is not your "cup of tea", maybe a visit to the Cape Coral Library is of interest. The beautiful Cape Coral Library is fully renovated, and Is always full of surprises. You can sit in their very comfortable lounge type chairs and Or walk through the Art gallery, sponsored by the Friends of the Cape Coral Library.

The Cape Library is part of the Lee County Library System and houses the Humanities Collection, a 34 volume Dictionary of Art, meeting rooms, Internet access, magazines to read at your heart's desire, and a youth services program. There are rows of videos, music CD's, and so much more that you can spend a couple of days there, if you'd like.

If shopping is more your style? Try the shops at Coralwood Shopping Center, on Del Prado, or the New Surfside Shops, which house a brand new Belks, a Starbucks, "Rack Room Shoes" (my favorite) and Home Goods to decorate your new abode.

And there's always the Loews, Publix and Target shops on the North side of Veteran's Parkway. You Can also check out the brand new Home Depot store at the corner of Skyline and Veteran's Parkway for your "do it yourself" household needs. And, on Santa Barbara Blvd, just North of the Target Shopping center, you'll find Jason's Deli. It's the closest thing to health food You'll find in the Cape.

Whatever your desire and interests, the Cape has something to offer everyone, and it just keeps Growing and adding new things all the time. You'll love spending the day, or many days there In the future.
