A Place That Could Only Happen Once

Many streets of the Yacht Club area have no outlet due to the design of the canal system and have a cul-de-sac at the end of the street. This equates to quiet neighborhoods with less traffic flow. The residents that make up the area come from all over the country and world as well. Full time residents of the Yacht Club neighborhoods are working folks of the community and retirees who have relocated here to enjoy life in their waterfront paradise. Snow birds also call these neighborhoods home and enjoy knowing that their homes will be looked after by their year round neighbors when they go back up north.

On some streets you will find that the island at the cul-de-sac is nicely landscaped as result of the neighbors working together. Recently on a Friday night, the residents on Venetian Court gathered at the island on the cul-de-sac to celebrate the remodeling project of their island by a couple of neighbors. Other streets have done similar projects, including a Bocce court on Malibu Ct.
